"Traditsia" is a small English and Bulgarian business set up in Devon 2007 by Emma and Denitsa. It was inspired by a joint visit to Bulgaria. We have a strong customer focus and have well developed ethical and environmental policies in place, which includes supporting local businesses in Devon and back in Bulgaria.
History
Our ceramics are made in central Bulgaria using local natural materials and traditional practices. They are produced by a small family company who have been operating for over 100 years.
Bulgaria is a fantastic country for rich history and active traditions and they love their food. Food plays a special and important role in Bulgarian lifestyles, eating together, indulging in good fresh local foods and wines. The presentation of their food is really important, with decorative dishes and lots of vibrant colors, every meal is a banquet.
